How to Check Your PVC Status and Polling Unit

Your Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) is your ticket to vote. Here's how to check your status and find your polling unit.

Check PVC Status Online:

1. 1.Visit INEC's voter verification portal
2. 2.Enter your VIN (Voter Identification Number) — found on your temporary voter's slip
3. 3.The system will confirm if your PVC is ready for collection

Find Your Polling Unit:

1. 1.Visit INEC's polling unit finder
2. 2.Enter your state, LGA, and ward
3. 3.The system shows your designated polling unit

If Your PVC is Not Ready:

• •Visit your LGA INEC office in person
• •Bring your temporary voter's slip or VIN
• •INEC staff can check your registration status directly

Transfer Your Registration:

1. 1.Visit the nearest INEC office
2. 2.Request a transfer of registration
3. 3.Provide your current PVC
4. 4.Complete biometric verification at your new location

Important:

• •Your PVC can ONLY be used at the polling unit where you registered
• •You must vote in person — Nigeria does not allow postal or electronic voting
• •On election day, bring your PVC to your polling unit between 8:30am and 2:30pm
