What You'll Need:

- •A short bio and a profile photo you'd like to appear on your page

- 3.Verify your email with the 6-digit code we send you
- 4.Upload your government ID and a selfie holding the ID
- 5.Write your bio and (optionally) upload a new profile photo
- 6.Submit - you'll get a reference code by email
Our review team responds within 48 hours. If we need clarification, we'll email you - keep the reference code in your subject line and your reply lands directly in our review queue.
After Approval: You get a single-use login link by email. Use it any time to submit changes - new bio, photo, achievements, contact URL, campaign video, or corrections to your name, position, party, or state of origin. Like the initial claim, every edit is reviewed by our team before it goes live on your public profile. This is the same standard used by Ballotpedia and Vote Smart - it keeps Ruzzen trustworthy as a voter resource and protects you from anyone tampering with your magic-link session. Edit reviews typically clear within 48 hours.
Privacy: Your government ID and selfie are stored privately - admin reviewers can view them only through short-lived signed links. We auto-delete these documents 30 days after a decision is made on your claim. We never publish them, sell them, or share them with third parties.
